Apparently this is a new one-shot manga for Weekly Shonen Jump (of Dragonball, One Piece and Naruto fame), which is about a guy from the Warring States period in Japan who is transported to the present day, so it's like Samurai Jack but different.
This one-shot is one of five manga submitted for a so-called "Golden Future Cup" and if it wins the cup, it becomes a full-blown series and Japan will be getting its answer to Samurai Jack.

Indeed, Is just that something that I like is having a feature film and done right is just too good to be true! Especially this days where everything from decades ago is being turn into a live action film.

Oh, thank goodness! For some wierd reason, it feels like a "Fall premiere" show, anyway. Also, I find that shows that get sneak previews do better for some reason.

Arthur, I think the chances of Jack being made are really good regardless of this deal (though, it couldn't hurt). Genndy's a superstar, but you already knew that, and JJ Abrams, our co-producer, well you already know him too.
