Does this means that Samurai Jack has more chance in being made? Cause knowing that will make my day happier
  • Fred Seibert · 2 months ago
Arthur, I think the chances of Jack being made are really good regardless of this deal (though, it couldn't hurt). Genndy's a superstar, but you already knew that, and JJ Abrams, our co-producer, well you already know him too.

Indeed, Is just that something that I like is having a feature film and done right is just too good to be true! Especially this days where everything from decades ago is being turn into a live action film.

Great news! You guys have come a real long way since 1998.

...Wait, what did this say about Fanboy? First, it said it was premiering in May, then it said it's still in October. Which is it? I hope it's still in October, because I don't think I can last that many more months.
  • Fred Seibert · 2 months ago
There'll be a sneak preview in October (don't tell anyone) and an official premiere in November. It's coming!
  • Coonfoot · 2 months ago
Oh, thank goodness! For some wierd reason, it feels like a "Fall premiere" show, anyway. Also, I find that shows that get sneak previews do better for some reason.

In Italy, there's an animation studio called Laterna Magica:http://www.lanternamagica.it/index.php?p=3&sp=1

They made some of the best independent animated movies ever made, its best one is The Blue Arrow which was released in the US by Disney/Miramax as How The Toys Saved Christmas:http://disneydvd.disney.go.com/how-the-toys-saved-christmas.html

I'm thinking that if Samurai Jack and the features distributed by Sony are box office hits and are critically acclaimed, you might become "the American Laterna Magica".

    Fred, PLEASE make Jack happen!

    Fred,

I think the Samurai Jack movie should look like this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZEyGRHU7mg

Feature-quality animation, epic sequences and a really good rock song. This anime movie, based on the wildly popular manga One Piece, has everything!
  • Fred Seibert · 1 month ago
Liam, I'll pass this along to Genndy. But, I can assure you, Jack will look like nothing else in the movies, and better.
