You must make a Samurai Jack movie! Someway, somehow. It could work as flash animated shorts as well online. I'm rooting for you man.
Hal Hefner
www.catmonkee.com

Re: Frederator Studios Blogs | Fred Seibert's Blog | The trouble with movies.

have you guys considered maybe doing some straight to dvd releases? I mean who says that the film has to be a theatrical release. I think fans would like it just the same. Look at all the recently released 2d animated dvd movies. Futurama, and Wonder Woman just off the top of my head.
Surely theres a market for this.

Re: Frederator Studios Blogs | Fred Seibert's Blog | The trouble with movies.

Thanks Niko.

Re: Frederator Studios Blogs | Fred Seibert's Blog | The trouble with movies.

I do hate it when people say that CG animation is the only kind of animation that will work for movies anymore. I don't think CG can overtake 2D either, as they are so different. I guess people just think that because almost all animated movies that break through are CG now, and if there are ones that aren't, they're a spinoff of a TV show. Because of that, I think to get a 2D movie greenlit, it would have to be very innovative and outstanding. But if there is any studio that can do that, it is undoubtedly Frederator.
