Glad I caught it, this was my first hearing about the show. Definitely looking forward to the official premiere!
Thanks for the great comments. The Fanboy Crew and I always appreciate the support from you all. Hey Rackattack_Force, Thanks for checking us out and catching those cool little touches to that episode. We usually expected that people would catch those things after a few viewings. This was kind of like our test episode to see how cartoony we would be pushing the CG models and it worked out great. Stayed tuned because this was just the beginning of many fun episodes to come.
All the best,
Robles
1. One of the things I love most in writing is when a simple joke returns later on and turns out to be a big help in the story. The robot talk in the beginning is a good example of this. I would also mention Fanboy having a plan when he got his brain back, but Chum Chum ran out before he heard it all - which is another funny writing thing I like, when seemingly important moments turn out to be useless.
2. The cartoony expressions DID turn out great. I've seen fun, loose animation for hand-drawn shows, but this is the first I've seen it happen for a CG one. It was a nice move getting Eddie Trigueros to storyboard this "test episode" - I've seen his work on other Nicktoons and that man knows how to push expressions!
To sum it up, thank you for the "Thank you" and here's hoping for more Fanboy greatness!
