I think it was the animation style that I didn't like at first. The 2D-3D hybrid of the characters just seemed a tad off, and still does. I prefer the classic 2D style of the original Maakies comics, and I think it would've translated well into animation (though oddly enough, the older, short Flash cartoons of Maakies weren't as visually pleasing as The Drinky Crow Show). Still, I've only seen 2 full episodes, so I'm hoping over the course of the season it will get better.
