They cram too much into 21 minutes. Take for example the episode 'husband and knives' which opens with a new comic book store moving in to town. It's just used as the first act to get the Shapes plot rolling. That alone could have been it's own episode. There was no closure with that plot either. Did they get rid of comic book guy?

Re: Frederator Studios Blogs | Channel Frederator Blog | The Simpsons Mark a Milestone

Actually, I saw last Sundays premiere and it was probably the funniest Simpsons episode I've seen in 10 years. I can't remember the last time I laughed so much at it! I hope they make more like it.

Re: Frederator Studios Blogs | Channel Frederator Blog | The Simpsons Mark a Milestone

The show might still be running but ask anyone and the quality of the current series is awful. The show died years ago and now it's a rotting corpse. Take it off the air while it still has some diginity.

Re: Frederator Studios Blogs | Channel Frederator Blog | The Simpsons Mark a Milestone

People can say what they want about the show's quality, but the fact that it's still around says a lot for the popularity of primetime animation.
