You know Floyd, I prefer Deputy Droopy in almost every respect.
I don't have a problem with the ending either.

Rock-A-Bye has that incredibly funny, shouty bear though.
He reminds me of that guy who sells detergent and health insurance in television commercials.

The hearing aid gag at the end of Deputy Droopy felt really random and tacked on. I'm wondering if it wasn't some sort of pop culture type gag for the time? Rock-A-Bye Bear won me over with it's lush looks, slight multiplane camera bits, and the great bear character

It's old fashioned humor, I think.

The bear is incredibly funny, but I so love those beautiful drawings in Deputy by whoever it was...
